I had an absolute blast creating this piece. It started as a playful experiment. The walls were uneven, which exaggerated the subject’s features, so I decided to lean into it and have fun. The result is my own playful take on Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” reimagined with a bold 90s makeup twist. It’s whimsical, vibrant, and unapologetically fun.
